About Jon Preston

Jon Preston has over 25 years of experience in the excavation safety industry, and has held positions as the Director of Training as well as Safety Director. Jon has developed and delivered an array of training programs including Excavation Safety Competent Person and Train the Trainer for Excavation Safety courses. Jon is an OSHA outreach instructor, teaching the OSHA 3015 course as well as OSHA 10 and 30 hour classes. Jon has also served as a guest speaker for safety conferences and has written several safety-related articles for industry and trade journals. He holds a Master’s degree in Training and Organizational Development from the University of Houston.
